Welcome to Bivens Chapel United Methodist
Church. We believe, teach, and preach
Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
We believe that He died on the cross, paying our penalty for sin and that through belief, faith and repentance, God will forgive us of our sins.
We believe in the Holy Spirit as He dwells within us, guiding us, through life.
We believe in the Word of God and we believe it is true and that it is alive. His Word speaks to our hearts.
We believe in loving and caring for each other. Forsake not the assembling of yourselves together. Worship God, pray and study His word and your life will never be the same. He is a good God, He's kind, He's pure, He's loving, He's all knowing, He's all powerful, He is everywhere, however, never get confused about God. Yes, He is all these things and more, but He is also a just God. Being just requires Him to judge mankind and He will do that very thing.
We believe that there is a place called hell and that it's real. Those who reject Christ will put themselves there. Unbeliever's will actually send themselves to hell. Think about for a second, also, know that when someone goes to hell, they are there forever. No escape, no relief, no more chances. Hey brother and sister, wake up before it's too late. If you don't know Christ as Savior of your life, invite Him into your heart right now. Don't delay! God's plan of salvation is simple; believe in Christ, ask Him to forgive you and follow Him.
