The doctors said that it was worse than they had thought, but they thought that he would be fine as long as he keeps his diabetes under control with a very strict diet. He had 3 by-passes done and they were from 80 to 90 percent blocked. He did have a light heart attack. All the honor and glory goes to God for keeping George safe and alive. This means that she will never be stricken w/the disease and there is only a 6% chance she will pass it on to her baby. Lana and her husband are now in the process of starting a family. | 7/29/2002 | William Doss | Ralph Mahan | There is s man here at work who has been struggling with Cancer. He was basically told that it was over. This man had liver cancer which is almost always fatal. People started praying for him, and here is the latest....
Regina called me late Friday afternoon and informed me that all went exceptionally well with Ralph's surgery.
They only had to remove 35% of his liver instead of the 80% and they got all of the cancer!!!
They did not have to do any burn treatment at all.
Regina said that everything went unbelievably well and that Ralph would have gone directly to a room instead of ICU
but there was not a room available. He is currently in his own room.
He still has to go to Texas once every 3 months for observation because the doctor's say it can reoccur and the earlier it
is caught, the better the chances are of controlling it.
Regina thanks everyone for their prayers of faith. She knows that it has made a difference in Ralph's' healing.
Let's praise God for working a miracle in Ralph's life.
